Manasseh Kibochi’s Spikes Estate sits at 1,700–1,800m above sea level, where the high-altitude conditions help produce dense, sweet cherries. Selectively handpicked cherries are pulped and dry fermented for 16–24 hours before being washed and soaked in clean water for a further 24 hours. The wet parchment is then carefully dried on raised beds for 10–18 days.

This lot is graded AB, the Kenyan classification for beans between screen size 15 and 18 (roughly 6–7mm). The result is a floral, silky and complex coffee with plenty of sweetness and clarity.

Tasting Notes: Homemade lemonade with a twist of lime, white peach, brown sugar sweetness and a hint of milk chocolate.
