Burundi – Gahahe – Red Bourbon – Natural

$23.00

Farm: Smallholders of Gahahe Washing station, Kayanza province

Born in the high hills of Burundi’s Kayanza region, this coffee is the result of nearly 900 smallholder farmers carefully hand-picking ripe cherries and delivering them to the Gahahe washing station. At over 1,800 meters above sea level, ideal growing conditions and meticulous natural processing create a cup that is both vibrant and deeply sweet.

In the cup, expect notes of stewed apple and cranberry with sour candy and sultana sweetness and notes of lemongrass and lime. It’s a coffee that reflects both the land and the people behind it — clean, expressive, and full of character. Every sip tells the story of craftsmanship, community, and the rising excellence of Burundian coffee.

Tasting Notes: Stewed apple, cranberry & sultana
